On the 26th February 2011, The IOC (International Olympic Committee) revealed the mascots for Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Previously on 7th Feb, 2011, total 10 shortlisted designs were shown to public out of 24,000 entries which came through a contest held on 5 Dec, 2010 throughout Russia. And later on, the top three, highest voted entries “the Leopard, the Hare and the Polar bear” were finalized as the official mascots for 2014 Sochi Olympics.
